Real Motion is built on a decade of brand development at the intersection of blockchain technology, finance, policy, media, culture, and entertainment.

Based around the experience of our founder, Will Gaines, our unique perspective stems from his diverse background spanning government service, entertainment, and Web3 innovation.

During his tenure as District Representative for the California State Senate, Will represented one million constituents, advocating for forward-thinking policies while focusing on building systems that serve people. He served on the Film Commission, which helps keep the Hollywood industry in California. His entertainment industry expertise, cultivated through roles at Sony Music and ICM Partners (now CAA), positions him to champion blockchain adoption across policy and creative industries.

From major artists including DJ Khaled and Joey Bada$$, to discovering 21 Savage as an A&R, to working with studios like Disney and NBCUniversal and production companies like Marvel Studios, down to actors like Michael Cera and Sebastian Stan, our company was founded through an early vision of advocating for decentralized technologies that could empower artists and creators through new revenue models and ownership structures.

As Ethereum advocates since 2016, we’ve been at the forefront of blockchain evolution, working with industry leaders including ConsenSys to develop strategic initiatives bridging traditional institutions and decentralized technologies. Our work for Movement resulted in the creation of the first community-driven Move-compatible environment, directly contributing to blockchain scaling and adoption (a 52-country community spanning 5 continents and over 2M followers across social media pages).

With a net social media reach exceeding 60M and experience curating events for hundreds of thousands of attendees, we understand the critical importance of accessible user experiences in driving mainstream tech adoption. Our advocacy focuses on establishing thoughtful regulatory frameworks that protect consumers while enabling builders to innovate transformative applications that make technology accessible to all.
